1. About us and these terms

The Aries UAE website (www.ariesuae.com) (the “Website”) is operated by, on, or on behalf of SQUBE MENA - F.Z.C, trading as Aries, a free zone limited liability company licensed by the Free Zones Authority of Ajman, United Arab Emirates (“Aries”, “us”, “we”, “our”).

The Website is provided to you for your personal use, subject to these terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”). By using the Website you agree to be bound by them. They apply to all products supplied by Aries.

2. Using the Website

You must be at least 18 years of age, or be using the Website under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

We grant you a non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Website for the purpose of shopping for personal items sold on it. Commercial use, or use on behalf of any third party, is prohibited unless we have explicitly permitted it in advance. Any breach of these Terms and Conditions results in the immediate revocation of this licence without notice to you.

3. Accounts and registration

Some services and features may require registration or subscription. If you register, you agree to provide accurate and current information and to update it promptly if it changes. You are responsible for keeping your password and account details safe, and the account owner is responsible for all activity under the account. Please notify us immediately of any unauthorised use of your password or account. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with this section.

4. Orders

• Products are subject to availability. If we cannot supply an item for reasons beyond our reasonable control, we will inform you as soon as possible and offer you a choice of a replacement product or a full refund.
• Your order is confirmed when we send you an order confirmation. We may refuse or cancel an order for any reason, including limited stock, errors in product or pricing information, failed payment authorisation, or an address we cannot verify. If you have already paid, we will refund you in full.
• Products are for personal use and are not intended for resale.
• By confirming your purchase at the end of checkout, you agree to pay the full amount shown, including any delivery charges.
• You may request cancellation before your order is dispatched by contacting customer care. Once an order is dispatched, the returns policy below applies.

5. Prices and payment

• Prices and delivery charges are shown in United Arab Emirates Dirhams (AED). We are not currently registered for VAT, so no VAT is added to our prices or delivery charges.
• We accept: Visa and Mastercard credit/debit cards; and cash on delivery in UAE Dirhams.
• Card payments are subject to validation by your card issuer. If the issuer refuses to authorise payment, we will cancel your order and contact you to arrange another payment method.
• The name on the credit/debit card used must match the cardholder’s ID details.
• Card payments are processed through Stripe, a secure payment gateway. We do not store your full card details, and we do not sell, share, rent or lease them to any third party.
• An invoice or order receipt is issued for every order.

6. Value Added Tax (VAT)

We are not currently registered for VAT in the UAE, so our prices do not include VAT and we do not charge it. If we register for VAT in future, we will update the Website so that prices show VAT and our invoices carry our tax registration number (TRN).

7. Delivery

We deliver to addresses in the United Arab Emirates only.

• Delivery is free for all orders in Dubai, and for orders of AED 180 or more to the other emirates. For orders below AED 180 outside Dubai, the delivery fee in the table above is charged.
• Standard delivery is within 2 days of your order being placed.
• Same-day delivery applies to orders placed before 12 pm and is available in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah and Ajman only.
• Order tracking: After you place your order, you will receive a notification on the website with the details you need to track it.
• If no one is available at the delivery address to accept the order, you can arrange another delivery date or receive information on collecting your products.
• Please check your order on delivery. If an item is damaged, tell us immediately (see Returns, Exchange and Cancellations).

8. Returns, exchange and cancellations

It is Aries’s intention to satisfy its customers.

• For health and safety reasons we do not accept returns or exchanges, except for faulty products. We cannot offer exchanges on any opened or used products.
• A product is faulty if it arrives damaged, or if a concealed manufacturing defect appears within one (1) month of the purchase date. Damage caused by wear and tear, neglect, abuse, improper maintenance or other causes attributable to you is not considered a fault.
• If a product is faulty, we will, at no cost to you, repair it, replace it, or take it back and refund you in full (UAE deliveries only). This includes the cost of collecting or returning the product. Please contact customer care with your order number, a description of the problem and photos.
• If the same fault appears three (3) times within the first year after you receive the product and it seriously affects how the product works, we will replace it with a new product of the same type and specifications, or refund you in full.
• Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits your rights on defective products under UAE consumer protection law.
• To help us assess damage or defects, we recommend recording a video while opening your package. We may ask to see it. This does not limit your rights in respect of defective products under UAE law.
• At the time of delivery, you may refuse the entire order only, and return it in full.
• All products are quality-checked before dispatch.

9. Refunds

• Refunds are made to the original method of payment.
• Card payments: we re-credit your credit/debit card within 14 working days of receiving and inspecting the returned product (or of confirming the cancelled order). The time for the amount to appear depends on your bank.
• Cash on delivery: we will contact you to collect your bank account details securely and then transfer the refund to your account.
• If you used a promotion code, its value is divided proportionally among all items on your order. If you return an item, you will be refunded the amount you paid for that item, after its share of the discount.
• Delivery charges are not refunded, except where you receive a faulty product or we cancel your order, in which case we refund them in full.
• We may reject a return that does not comply with this policy.

10. Promotional terms and conditions

The supplied PDF includes terms for the WELCOME10 offer and the Value Set offer. Their current availability and checkout enforcement have not been verified in this project, so offer-specific terms are not published here until confirmed.

11. Intellectual property

All copyrights, trademarks, trade dress and other intellectual property and materials on the Website — including page headers, images, text, illustrations, formats, logos, designs, icons, photographs, programs, music or video clips, and other written and visual materials (the “IP”) — are owned, controlled or licensed by Aries, its affiliates, or third parties who have licensed their materials to Aries, and are protected by UAE and international copyright and trademark laws.

You may access, view, download and print the IP for your personal, non-commercial use only, provided that you (1) do not modify or alter it and (2) do not make it available to any third party in a commercial manner. You acquire no copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights in the IP, and no licence, right, title or interest in any materials or software is transferred to you by your use of the Website.

You may not reproduce (except as stated above), publish, transmit, distribute, display, modify, create derivative works from, sell or otherwise exploit any of the IP, the Website or any related software, in whole or in part. The IP and software may be used only as a shopping resource. The compilation of all IP on the Website is the exclusive property of Aries and is protected by UAE and international copyright laws.

The name Aries, the ariesuae.com domain name and all other graphics, logos, page headers, button icons, scripts and service names on the Website are the property of Aries in the United Arab Emirates, or are used under licence.

12. Product information and warranty

We describe our products as accurately as we can; colours and images may vary slightly. Please follow the usage instructions supplied with each product. Our shower filters have no refill cartridges: when a filter reaches the end of its life, replace the whole filter with a new one. Product performance information is provided in good faith, and results may vary between individuals and depend on your water. Our products are not medical devices and are not intended to diagnose, treat or cure any condition.

• Warranty: we do not offer a separate commercial warranty. This does not affect your legal rights: if a product is defective, we will repair or replace it, or refund you, at no cost to you (see Returns, exchange and cancellations).

13. Liability

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under UAE law, including your rights in respect of faulty products. Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, and our total liability in connection with an order is limited to the price you paid for the products in that order. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control.

14. Privacy and cookies

We handle your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Notice, which form part of these Terms and Conditions.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version published on the Website when you place your order applies to that order.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, as applied in the Emirate of Ajman. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at info@ariesuae.com so that we can resolve it. You may also contact the competent consumer protection authority in the UAE. The courts of the Emirate of Ajman have jurisdiction over any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably.

17. General

If any part of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the remainder stays in effect. These Terms and Conditions, together with the Privacy Policy and the promotional terms, are the entire agreement between you and Aries about your use of the Website and your purchases. These Terms and Conditions are provided in English and Arabic. If there is any difference between the two versions, the Arabic version prevails.
